The Democracy in the C lassroom at primary Education workshop which was organized by our faculty to support preschool and primary school teachers in teaching of democracy concept was held between 9th and 11th May. The workshop was led by Senior Lecturer Doug Springate from Greenwich University, Sidsel Hadler-Olsen from Bergen University, Dr. Dilek Gözütok from Ankara University, Assistant Professor. Dr. Ali Ekber Şahin and  Dr. Derya Şahhüseyinoğlu from Hacettepe University. From public and private schools, 35 teachers and administrators from public and private schools attended the workshop. Academicians and senior students from the department of primary school education from our faculty also attended the workshop and assisted in the smooth running of the event.
